Josh. Someone told me that you got depressed because you successfully finished Girly. If that's true then how does that work? Your comic was awesome and you should be proud for finishing it.

I don’t know if it makes any sense, really, but ending a big personal project resulted in a really huge rush, followed by a really huge crash for me. I dunno if it was just me realizing I didn’t know what to do with my life anymore or the natural chemical reactions in my brain or what… or maybe some of the other bullshit I was going through at the time, but it was the only time I spent in my life crying in bed on more than a few occasions. It’s also when I started drinking pretty heavily.

It goes to show that people like Penny Arcade are correct and doing the same dull comic forever is the way to go
