Although this is a YA book, as a 41 year old woman, I LOVED IT!!!

From the first page on, R.G. Cordiner manages to build up suspense at a lightning quick pace and not letting the reader take a breath… The fog is thick… the bugs are huge… and the humans are terrified… There are a couple of surprise twists in the story and the ending had me gasping in shock.

An excellent book for readers of all ages!!

I rather enjoyed this book. Once they got on the island, the pace picked up and held my interest until the end of the book. I had to find out who, if anyone, would get off the island and how. There are a couple of unexpected twists in the story. Also, one of the characters seems to mature quite nicely from the experience. If your kids like bugs and would like an adventure escaping from huge bugs on an island, they might like this.
