WORKSHOP: Fashionable Science Fiction and Fantasy by Heidi Ruby Miller at Pennwriters 2015

I'm happy to be presenting part of my Fashionable Science Fiction and Fantasy class from Seton Hill's MFA in Writing Popular Fiction program for the 2015 Pennwriters Conference, Building Bridges .

Who could forget Jean Paul Gaultier's futuristic costuming for The Fifth Element or Ngila Dickson's otherworldly designs for The Lord of the Rings trilogy? We'll use runway royalty, innovative designers, and imaginative costumers to inspire theming within your science fiction and fantasy worlds and enhance characterization through fashion.

The Pennwriters Conference is in Pittsburgh this year on the weekend of May 15 - 17 at the Pittsburgh Airport Marriott. Keynote speaker is Ridley Pearson .
