Angela James, editor over at Samhain, had an interesting post up at her blog.  One of the comments she made:

the fact is, it’s up to the author to make sure the book doesn’t need a second chance because it’s entirely likely it won’t get one.

There were some other good points made, but this one just caught my eye and I wanted to share.
