I am not 100% sure what the question is, but sure, there’s a wrong way to do every aspect of comics. LOTS of wrong ways, endless wrong ways.
If you’re asking if there is an inherently wrong method to the actual scripting itself, that is less likely. No two writers do comic script formats the same.
I have a couple pieces of advice. First, give your artist both enough detail and enough freedom. That’s a balance we all have to figure out for ourselves. Don’t make them have to struggle to imagine what you are asking for, and don’t tie them down with unnecessary specifics.
And a practical bit of advice, don’t use any format or software that is so obscure your editor will have a hard time reading it.
Other than that, they’re all different.
