National Readathon Day…What Are YOU Reading?

You’ll know where to find me this Saturday

Do you ever want to read but can’t seem to find the time?  I can’t tell you the number of times that I’ve been in the middle of a good book only to be called away by the phone that needs to be answered, the dishwasher that needs to be emptied, or the dinner that needs to be cooked.

But not today!

Today is National Readathon Day, and I’ve set aside an entire four hours to read from my current RIP (read in progress), House of Velvet and Glass. 

I’m going to listen to my iPod to keep distractions at a minimum and settle down in my favorite reading place.  I’m also going to ignore that darned dishwasher (and washing machine and vacuum cleaner) and give myself time to read.

If anyone in the house bothers me, I plan to hand them a book, lol.  If I’m lucky, the cat will come up for a cuddle and it will snow (which makes things all nice and cozy.)
