We've got cold weather this morning, which is kind of a pain, because I need to go out and get the cat food which I didn't get yesterday. At this point, at least one of the cats would rather I just sit here and keep her warm.

semyaza linked to this site: Les Machines de l'ile I was in Nantes once and I would love to go back. I didn't get to see any of these, but the convention did have an art installation with big metal spiders that were sound and motion sensitive. As part of the exhibit, they would dance to music. It was very cool to watch, though sometimes when you would walk too close to the exhibit they would be triggered by the motion and change position with a loud clash, and scare the crap out of you.


They were bigger than this photo makes them look, about four feet tall.
