The next morning Hunter woke up in his chair. It wasn’t the first time he’d fallen asleep in his chair, but his pants weren’t usually unfastened when he did it. Then the memories from the night before came flooding back to him. Charmaine.
He scanned the room, but didn’t see her. Typical party girl, must have called her driver after he’d fallen asleep, had him take her home. He sighed. Charmaine was a handful, and now she showed herself to be that elusive sort of female, the kind whose motto was to love ‘em and leave ‘em before they could leave you. He recognized that hardness in her, the way she cloaked herself in Kevlar, thinking it would protect her against the world. Unfortunately, there were things in life you couldn’t be protected against. Standing up, he stretched and went to the refrigerator. He opened the door, hoping to find orange juice, but only discovered half a carton of milk and a few beers. Taking out the milk he opened an overhead cabinet. Maybe some cereal. Nope, just a few packages of saltines and an almost empty box of Oreos. Time to go to the store. He downed the rest of the milk, and tossed the empty container in the trash.
He was heading to the bathroom when he glimpsed Charmaine lying in his bed asleep, tucked into the fetal position. Her presence caused him to stop short. She’d stayed. Had he misjudged her? He thought she was long gone and figured he’d never see her again.
Trying not to wake her, he opened the closet door, found some clothes and got dressed. Where were her clothes? She had the covers pulled up so high he couldn’t tell if she was still naked. His cock stirred at the thought of her beautiful body, and put his hand on his crotch, unable to help himself.
