Review 1 | 2015 TBR Pile Challenge | Diary of a Wimpy Kid

When I couldn’t get through #1 on my Roof Beam Reader 2015 TBR Pile Challenge list, I selected Diary of a Wimpy Kid #1 by Jeff Kinney as my first alternate read. I put this on my list because I had considered letting my eight-year-old daughter read it, but I wasn’t sure if I would be comfortable with the content, as it is listed as 5th grade level.

What did I think about the book? It was cute. And it was just fine for an eight-year-old to read. I prefer for my daughter to read books with less...
