The Baked Scribe has been nominated for an award!!!!

Picture Many thanks to Carly Compass, for nominating me for The Very Inspiring Blogger Award. You should all take a moment to check her out at carlycompass.com. She has several books out on the market right now and the future looks bright for her!

Here are the rules involved with the award.

• Display the award on your blog
• Link back to the person who nominated you
• State 7 things about yourself
• Nominate  you favorite bloggers, link to them, and notify them about their nominations

So, 7 facts about myself:

1. I am a baker, by profession. I have experience professionaly baking both bread and pastries. I have also been teaching cooking classes for nearly fifteen years on the art of making pizza. You can find my website at www.blinddogpizza.com

2. While I enjoy peppermint and chocolate, I do not care for the two of them at the same time.

3. I have the most amazing, perfect son that could ever be hoped for, Harry Clark, who is the beacon that lights the way for all of us. His little brother, Elliot, is due to enter the world in early April and he has a big act to live up to.

4. I was a reasonably successful debater in high school, although that was likely due to the fact that I had a verifiable genius as a partner. I would go on after high school to become a coach, a job which I would have for six years.

5. Evidently, our family has made a connection with William Clark, as in Lewis & Clark.

6. My grandfather, Lester Zwick was one of the most talented, generous and all around greatest people I have ever known and I constantly hope that I can live up to the legacy he left behind.

7. I have never met Rob Lowe before, but I have met Chad Lowe.

Well that's it. I'm sad to say that I don't read very many blogs myself but I will post some links to some sites that I think you should check out. These are all talented folk that deserve some love and attention.

dSavannah Rambles...she also doubles as my graphic designer, responsible for the cover of my debut book as well as the upcoming follow-up. She is a great artist who writes among many other mediums. Check out her blog as well as her other work.

Rick Hawkins wrote one of my favorite books I have gotten my hands on recently, The Last Plague. Check out his site for his blog as well as more info on his work.

Paul Feeney is a writer I have been glad to have gotten to know over the past year. He recently published his debut work, The Weight Of The Ocean and I highly reccommend it. Check out his blog for some great reviews as well.
