Blogging Airborne: a memoir about jumping from a perfectly good airplane

In 1988, as a very young and very green second lieutenant, I secured a slot to the US Army Airborne School at Fort Benning, Georgia. This memoir is merely one of the results.

Note: I originally wrote this memoir as a series of blog posts in July 2006. That version will always remain at my blog: Writing Wrongs. This e-book version contains a new introduction. I've also revised and formatted the text for e-readers. I like to think of it as Blogging Airborne in a to-go cup.About the Author  Charity Tahmaseb has slung corn on the cob for Green Giant and jumped out of airplanes (but not at the same time).

She spent twelve years as a Girl Scout and six in the Army; that she wore a green uniform for both may not be a coincidence. These days, she writes fiction (long and short) and works as a technical writer for a software company in St. Paul.

Her novel, The Geek Girl's Guide to Cheerleading (written with co-author Darcy Vance), is a YALSA 2012 Popular Paperback pick in the Get Your Geek On category.Links  Amazon: http://tinyurl.com/l4uphgl Follow on Twitter: @geekgirlx2
