From Terra Ch. 20 & Your Thoughts For Stronghold
Happy Friday!!!!
Even better news - the second to last chapter of From Terra is now out on Literotica! By popular reader request, there's been a return from a character that Chryssa met at House Exotica. Next chapter is the last one and will conclude the HEA for Chryssa =) I'm pretty excited about it... she's been a lot of fun to work with. Honestly, she's one of my favorite characters because she's so very honest about what she wants and needs. In some ways, she's kind of my woman's lib character. She's completely unapologetic about being greedy for pleasure, makes the best of any situation, and isn't going to back down from what she wants - and she doesn't see anything wrong with that. She's totally shaken off the sexual repression of Terra and embraced being herself and enjoying herself. As much as I enjoy writing the reluctant stuff and seduction with lots of blushing and protesting, Chryssa has been a seriously refreshing change. I'll probably write more characters like her in the future.
In the meantime... I'm chugging along with the rest of the my writing. It's harder because I'm also getting busier and busier at work, and the next few months are always my slowest writing time because of that. But I'm still getting some done here and there! The past couple of days I've actually gotten quite a bit done, which has been great. Next week I'll share a teaser for Marriage Training. I've got a few edits to make on what I've got so far, but then I'll be putting it up =)
I haven't even started on the next Stronghold story, because right now I'm kind of torn. The original novella was supposed to be from Jared and Leigh's point of view, setting up their full-length book, mostly because there's some stuff that's going to go down that I don't want to make part of the book (because the book would end up being gargantuan), but that I didn't want to do as flashbacks / exposition either. I hate flashbacks. I figured doing a novella would be the best way to do it... but now I'm kinda wondering if maybe I should include other POVs in the novella. Use it to set-up Breaking the Chain, but also to give a glimpse into the lives of those characters that have already gotten their books. Maybe even to give a glimpse into the lives of those characters that HAVEN'T gotten their books as well. Also, it would give me a way to introduce far more sexy time into the book.
So... thoughts? Should I keep the novella just focused on the two main characters, or have it spread out over the other characters as well?
