Happy New Year!
In honor of 2015, Paolini.net is celebrating the fictional languages of the Inheritance Cycle. I've released
my files on the dwarf, Urgal, nomad, and ancient languages. These feature all of the invented words that appeared in the series—and a few that didn't! Other articles include the story behind the
creation of Elva (a character whose importance in the plot was due to a error on my part); a
guest article by Random House copy editor, Artie Bennett, about working with me on the Inheritance Cycle; and a
complete grammar of the ancient language developed by fans based in the Netherlands.
Many people have been asking when my next book will be published. Well, my new
sci-fi novel progresses apace, but I currently don't have any news regarding a release date. There has also been a rumor circulating that there will be a new Inheritance Cycle movie in 2015. Please disregard this information as an internet prank. Fox Studios has no plans to reboot the series at this time, but I'll definitely let everyone know if that changes!
As you can see, there are many wonderful resources available to fans and fellow authors on my official website,
Paolini.net. Subscribe to my
newsletter, so you don't miss out on any great new content in the future.
See you there,
Christopher
I'll be sure to subscribe to your newsletter to be informed about any important content. Best of wishes and a Happy New Year!
