Following two volunteer trainings (Seattle and Arcata), we recently completed our first module of the Yoga and Social Justice Teacher Training, a 200-hour Yoga Alliance program.It proved to be provocative, engaging, and transformative. A foundational aspect of my philosophy in this training is to use the tools of yoga to support, address, or cultivate a brain state that is available to learning, open to new ways of being, and willing to entertain change.
