Announcing the 2015 Grand SROP Fritter-Away!

That's right, it's not a give away, it's a fritter-away because we know in our hearts we're just uselessly tossing books to the wind...

Here's the back story. During the last exciting "big sale" at Lulu.com, we frivolously ordered a few extra copies of two different, inexpensive books which have been "popular" in the past.

A Modest Collection of Slightly Shocking Fairy Tales by Richard McGowan Hoard of the Flies by H. Cogito Epsilon That is, four copies of: A Modest Collection of Slightly Shocking Fairy Tales and two copies of: Hoard of the Flies.

Now we're going to fritter them away to potential readers in North America... (Sorry, it's just too expensive to fritter away postage to Tierra del Fuego and similarly distant points.)

This offer is only valid for new SROP customers over the age of 21 who at least half-promise that they'll make an effort to read the book if one is sent to them. Please don't post a comment here—just figure out how to contact the rodent at Smashed-Rat-on-Press by e-mail and ask for one of the free 2015 fritter-away prizes. You will need to specify your mailing address and which book you are trying to receive. The rodent promises not to spam you or to send anything other than the book.

Intepid readers who are able to follow the bread-crumbs could also get other cool prizes and free e-stuff, but they'll have to work a little.

This offer will self-destruct when all six books have been given good homes... or when we are overcome by paranoia and decide to cancel it.
