Each Cat Kills the Thing She Loves

My favorite all-time cat toy is this little mouse! From the moment I found it, I would play with it for hours on end, tossing it all around the house and chasing it!

I even trained the humans to toss it for me, and I’d chase it and bring it back to them to throw again. I’d do this over and over until I tired them out — I hear it helps them sleep better throughout the night. These photos are from last October.

This is how it looks now, and my human says it is “past its prime.” I don’t agree.

I think it’s got a lot of life left in it. Look, I think it moved just now!

I bet I could kill this toy hundreds of more times!

So please don’t tell me you’re going to throw it away!
