What a Joy to be Back in the Priestesses Temple of Pleasure

Last August I was gifted a six day Xmas Cruise to the Caribbean sponsored by the Nation Magazine by my favorite couple in Door County. I’d be assured of meeting open minded folks who would be liberal in their political thinking. I also arranged to have my apartment painted while I was gone which was a great way to kick off the New Year.

ONE: My fear of traveling alone was the main thing I wanted to confront. After all, I’d had 10 years with Eric followed by 10 years with Carlin who both arranged and kept track of details on all of our trips. If I didn’t break through at 85, I’d be dependent on someone for every trip from here on in. To be honest, I was afraid to go. Fear continues to teach me important lessons. I was growing soft in my “old age.”
