Routine

They say writers should have a routine. Here's mine: I wake up, make a cup of coffee, and then read the obituaries on Wikipedia to see who I've outlived. Then I write whatever it is I am writing. But I do not find it morbid to read obits. History is biography and it fascinates me to read about the lives of others, to see how they began, how they navigated the minefields of life, and then to see how they ended. I'm afraid my obit would be very short. I've accomplished damned little in my 45 yrs upon the planet. ah well, the game is not over yet.
