We spent much of the holidays at my writer’s retreat nestled beside the cozy new toasty stove. Unfortunately the cat, CheeChee doesn’t seem to like it as whenever it turns itself on, she starts howling. LOLOL

Over the days while we were there, we adopted a family of blue jays and chickadees who loved the sunflower seeds and other seeds we put out for them. It was fun!!

There was hardly any snow which was great so we could go on the hiking trails for brisk but cold walks.
