Why the Blank Page Isn't Better

The cure to your fear about writing badly is to accept you will write badly and just do it anyway. There is this strange idea that somehow a blank page of not having failed is superior to having tried and failed. It's not true. A blank page is worse than a page filled with scribbles and crossed over words. It is a beginning, and that is always better than not beginning.
