Oh yeah from here. I was thinking of Hip Hop as a whole,past just rap, with Vaughn Bode’s huge influence on graffiti. Maybe stuff like comic artists doing classic rap covers for albums like Liquid Swords or The Sienkiewicz, Rza stuff.

but yeah, superheroes are certainly get mentioned a lot, which these days might even be less about the medium of comics and more just an overall pop culture thing.
