Merry Christmas / Gleðileg jól everyone!

Thank you to all my friends, family, followers and readers for your support during 2014. It’s been a whirlwind of a year for Iceland, Defrosted – library talks in the spring, interviewing the wonderful Hannah Kent, sharing a stage with the talented Hafdís Huld, seeing Portishead at a rainy ATP in Keflavík, to a stunning Iceland Airwaves with the Northern Lights arcing overhead.

2015 will be given over to writing a new book. You might find I’m a little quiet on social media as a result. It’s not exactly Iceland Defrosted 2 – I’m not sure you’d want it to be! It’s shaping up to be quite something already.

Anyway, have a relaxing Christmas. Have a beer or two. I’ve got some writing to do.
