Get Motivated and Stop Procrastination

Sometimes, when you realize that you have so many things to do, you might lose your motivation suddenly. You want to stop everything and then go relaxing. It is normal but if there is a way to get your things done and also be motivated, why not give it a try….right?

So how do you usually motivate yourself? Once you lose it, trying to gain it back might seem difficult, but just meeting new people and looking for friends can actuallyhelp you be motivated. You will see what others do to get what they want. You might be comparing yourself with them. You will see how far you are behind them, and that will motivate you to work harder. Just remember that people are different, so you should just focus on what they do, not who they are.

Moreover, do everything your best and be excited with what you are doing, even though it is the most boring thing to do. Once you have done it well, you will be proud. You will get a different feeling that will then, motivate you to keep doing other things you have to do next.

You might have to find yourself inspiration as well. Find the reasons why you have to do this or that. Think of future benefits, not just for now. If you cannot find them, you can always ask for help from your friends or family. Actually, even people on the street can give you the reasons. How? You see different people. You learn how they live and how their life has become. Those who do nothing get nothing, while those who do something get something.

Once you are motivated, you should keep up with the good work. If you procrastinate and waste your time relaxing so long, you might be risking losing your motivation again. These are some of the ways that you can do to beat procrastination.

Make a list of what you have to do every single day. Only 5-10 lists are enough. You will be reminded and see what you have done or have not. Then, prioritize your list to see what have to be done soon, and choose the most important one first. You can also plan ahead on how long you are going to spend for each task or job, so that you can see if you are really on track.

Set a break time for yourself is also important. Keep doing or working on anything without taking a break is just going to make you more tired and stuck. You can recover during the break and start focusing again after it.

Write down your expectations towards each task to remind yourself of how you need it to be done. However, nothing can always be done perfectly. You will never know when your job is going to be perfect for you. So you might just have to focus on the real purpose and result.

Being motivated will help you be more positive. Your life will always be exciting and all things will also be done!
