Goodreads Choice Awards 2025

So what is going on with Crazy Karl?

One of the things readers typically ask me about is Crazy "White Power" Karl from Hot Property. I have one friend who puts it this way, "Nevermind all this Happily Ever After crap, what's going on with Karl?"

It's been almost two years since I wrote HP so it's flattering to know people are still interested in him. He was a bit of a departure for me and probably didn't belong in a romance novel (at least a few reviewers thought I'd lost my mind)but I love a good villain and he creeped me out so I thought maybe at least a few of you out there would enjoy a Karl update.

Keep in mind that this is written from his son's perspective but we can tell that Karl has definitely been upto no good.

McGee Magoo Oh. My. God. I thought maybe this kid was going to be redeemable somehow, but that's obviously not going to happen. I'm dying here, Tamara! Now the Kingston's have TWO homicidal, psycho, white-power freaks to take on. That kid is scary. Scarier than Karl, I think.

Thanks for giving us a little peek and tease this is great. I now can't wait for Mr. Fixer-Upper!

Tamara Larson I know, right? He's a total psycho. Poor Bunny.

I created this idyllic world where people build houses and fall in love and have great sex, but then I have to throw not one but TWO crazies into the mix. Just couldn't leave Karl out of FMV completely after all. Hopefully, I didn't write myself into a corner with this creepy kid. We'll see soon enough. (I know, I'm such a tease.)I can't wait to see what happens next either, so the Entangled project will have to wait while I sort out Jacob and Anna. And Aryan Adam. Thanks again, for your support, Shannon. Keep an eye out for the special Christmas Epilogue. (I'll add it to the book itself, but will post it on my website too, so you guys don't have to purchase it again.)

McGee Magoo Aryan Adam and Crazy Karl. I like the sound of that. I hope Jacob and Anna's story doesn't cause you too many headaches. I'm excited about the twist. And about the epilogue!

I am so getting into this series!!! HAHAHAHA! Aryan Adam that is funny. Let's do Krazy Karl, with a K so he fits in with the Kardashians, all K's, all the time! Plus, they are another level of cray cray, oops I mean kray kray, so he would fit right in.;) Thanks for putting me on to a new series.
