A Friday rant (with a small side order of rave)

If you remember, last week I posted that I was back after taking a short break from blogging (and my computer), to spend time with family and enjoy a bit of relaxation.

I said this-even though I knew that this week would be hectic, and indeed, an emotional roller coaster, because mom would be having surgery on Monday, and she'd be staying with us for a few days to recover.
