Dear Dr. Betty,
I am a huge fan of your website and all the information you share, I forward it to all my girlfriends and it has sparked interesting and sometimes heated discussions over wine, dinners and group e-mails. I love that more and more women are talking about our own sexuality and masturbation and partner sex.
Here's my problem, as sexual a person as I am, or at least used to be, I haven't had sex with a partner for one and a half years. I don't feel like it's healthy for me, It's also never happened since I was fifteen years old (I'm twenty eight now). I've always had some form or another of sexual interaction, both with men and women. But I now feel like that silly girl after a break up (it really was an awful break up) who is afraid of intimacy.
