Slut and Size Shaming in Romance

I've noticed a trend in romance novels lately that's bothering me.

When a female character dislikes another female, that dislike tends to manifest itself as slut-shaming or size-shaming. You'd assume only the characters we aren't supposed to like are guilty of this, but that's not the case at all.
