Desk Raven

Last week, my beloved desk raven (and irritating muse), took a direct hit and broke. (seen here in one piece) While I was not certain of my ability to fix him, I proceeded with the operation, because I love this guy. A friend suggested I use black sharpie to make him look perfect again, but then I read an article on the Japanese art of Kintsugi, which highlights repairs with gold or silver under the philosophy that these things are part of an object's history--a testament to survival.
