 Trim the Tree Hop

 

We buy an ornament each year to represent the most significant event in our lives from the preceding twelve months. The year my first novel was published, we got a typewriter ornament.  The year we bought our first house, we bought an ornament that looked like a home.  We have an Idaho ornament for the year we moved there from Arizona and a Virginia ornament for the year we traveled across the country to put down new roots in that red clay soil.
