Wow, Friends with L.E. Modesitt, Jr.
L.E. Modesitt, Jr. is one of my favorite fantasy authors, and the reason for this are his Recluce books.
They're great, and I read the first 5 of them while living in China.
I sent him a friend request on Goodreads some time ago and today he added me. That's kinda cool, huh?
It's nice living in the 21st-century, where authors and entertainers you like can be so close.
So will I bother him and pester him all the time? I don't think so. But he is a Goodreads Author, and you can ask him questions about his books...as I did on what inspired him to write so much about carpentry (my grandpa was a carpenter so this always interested me).
Anyways, check him out and see if some of his fantasy books are to your liking!

I've know Lee Modesitt for years. He is a remarkable guy, approachable at conventions and easy to talk to. He's not on a lot of social media and he's quite busy. He attends the World Fantasy Conventions most years and sits on panels and is always informative and entertaining. All brest!
