Our Advent Journey Begins...

Today's Daily White Board message shares a Bible verse and then a quote from Paula's Advent Devotional. Behind the white board are my daughter and husband's chocolate Advent calendars, to the left in the baggie is Amish friendship bread (on day 9, yeah!), and all three represent Advent traditions in our home. As I looked at our daily white board message from last week, I decided this was an area I needed to improve on as I move forward in anticipation of Christmas. 

Since 2012, I've read Paula A. Davis' Advent devotional, Cherish This Christmas: Seeing Christ Amidst the Chaos , so why mess with tradition. It's a realistic and encouraging look into our lives at Christmas with Bible verses to help us each day.
