Loomis, California November 24, 2014
A diverse group of people from various disciplines of horsemanship came to participate in a day long presentation of an Introduction to Nevzorov Haute Ecole. NHE Representative Donna Condrey-Miller explained the principles and theoretic aspects of the School. The semi-private gathering was generously hosted by Tami Toland of Loomis.
Participants were active in discussions and eagerly expanded their understanding of NHE with earnest questions and thoughtful comments. In a brief practical demonstration with Ms. Toland’s mare, Dreamer participants were able to witness what it looks like when a horse says no and how to respond.
Everyone further benefited by the in-person presentation that helped relieve any mysterious characteristics or misconceptions of the NHE School. Hand-out materials were provided for reference, and as a guide for contemplation of the information. NHE Student Rhiannon Hawk was also in attendance and was able to offer her personal experience with the NHE way of being with horses.
