I think that’s fucking important to note, that this vine got taken down. I saw it and it languished in my drafts for a while because it fell through the cracks.

Remember this. Remember that they’re taking down protest videos. Remember that they’re trying to control the narrative. Remember, keep posting, keep sharing, keep talking about Ferguson. Don’t let the story die.

I’ve said it before I’ll say it again, remember to back up these videos on multiple places, not just cellphones/harddrives but also dropbox, external harddrives, and if possible upload to multiple platforms (vine, g+, facebook, instagram as well as tumblr). If they get taken down reupload and if you don’t have access to external harddrives and you need help backing up your videos add that to description when uploading. As a community we need to take responsibility for keeping these records when others are being censored.
