A great crowd at Fleet U3A listened enraptured to tales of criminality

I was delighted to be asked to speak to the lovely members of Fleet U3A on 19th November about my crime novels and how I write them.

The U3A movement is huge in the UK and growing by the day.  It stands for the
University of the Third Age and is an organisation that brings together
retired and semi-retired
people to learn together, not for qualifications but for
its own reward: the sheer joy of discovery!

Here are some photographs taken at my talk and book signing. I will
be posting a couple of videos shortly taken at Fleet. Unfortunately Yateley and District U3A have cancelled my talk on 4 December which is a real shame as I was looking forward to it and meeting some of my die hard fans from Sandhurst. The committee felt there wasn't enough time for me to give my talk and sign my books, because it clashed with their Christmas Draw! Judging by the queue that formed at Fleet for signed copies  there would have been many people wanting them.  Such a shame to deprive members especially as they would have made great Christmas presents.  However I have many more talks lined up for 2015 including some lovely U3As around the country and talks to other groups, libraries and organisations. You can see all these on my events page. Hope to meet some of you in 2015.
