The Dirty Thirty day 4 & 5
Day 4&5 are together and late because I was in Florida and had little to no service or wifi the whole time. So bare with me as I catch up from the weekend. Below are the last of the interview questions. If you want to see all of them (including mine) you can find them at Fantasy With Fire. Enjoy!
Were you #TeamEdward, #TeamJacob, or #TeamSomeoneStopThisMadnessThatIsTwilight?
I admit it. I was Team Edward. For about 10 seconds. Twilight was something that I loved the first time I read through it, but the movies really ruined it for me. They had HORRIBLE casting and bad makeup, BUT, they did make me realize how much I genuinely didn’t like the character of Bella. After seeing the movies and then going back to try reading the books and that did not work. All of the things about Bella that annoyed me in the movies were still there. They just weren’t as noticeable until I had seen them in film. Had I never watched the movies, I would probably still love that series. Ignorance is bliss, I guess.
When you were a kid, did you believe there was a monster under your bed?
Nope, but there was a creepy dude with a striking resemblance to Freddy in the dark corner on the opposite site of the room from my bed. Even during the day, I wanted nothing to do with that corner.
What’s your biggest pet peeve?
Ugh, people who chew with their mouth open. It grosses me out on a level I can’t even begin to describe. I will also cut someone out of my life for lying to me. Lol That one doesn’t go over well at all.
Post-Its – yay or nay?
HELLS YES. Post-It’s are the greatest invention EVER.
The world is full of magic and supernatural creatures. You have 24 hours to live. What would you do?
I would track down Jericho Barrons and have my way with him. lol
If you could invite five writers, living or dead, over for a dinner party, who would you invite and why?
Stephen King – Because he is the king of horror. I love his writing so much. I know he’s someone you either love or hate, and I know a lot of my friends think I am looney for liking his style, but I do. So, so much!
Anne Rice – This woman is single-handedly responsible for my love of vamp fiction.
Jeaniene Frost – She’s the queen of paranormal romance with an urban fantasy twist.
Karen Marie Moning – She’s the queen of urban fantasy with a paranormal romance twist.
Dan Brown – Ok, I wont lie, I would have to get him drunk before I started talking to him, but, I would love to pick Dan Brown’s brain about his research for the Robert Langdon (Angels & Demons , The DaVinci Code, The Lost Symbol, and Inferno) books. They’re so amazing and the detail is so intricate. That all being said, he’s kind of known for being an anti-social dick, so, yeah, I’d get him a little tipsy before we started to chat.
If you could eat one food for the rest of your life, and it wouldn’t adversely affect your health in any way, what would it be?
Buffalo wings. Don’t even need to think about it. Buffalo wings and ranch dressing.
You’re stranded on a desert island. By some act of strange magic, there’s running water, electricity, and necessities, such as food and coconut body wash, will never run out. All you have to worry about is entertaining yourself for the rest of your days. What ten things would you bring with you to occupy yourself?
My Kindle
My laptop
A projector
A magical internet connection
A stack of white bed sheets
The best hammock on the market
A stereo system
My cats
Tequila
The little umbrellas that go in drinks
Do you believe in ghosts?
I’m not sure. All I know if I have experienced some things I cant explain.
If you could make any one supernatural creature real, which would it be and why?
Jericho Barrons, and because he’s frikkin Jericho Barrons.
If you could send any message to your readers, what would you say?
THANK YOU! Thank you so much for your never-ending love and support!
