Create Your Own Uniqueness!!!
Just putting the finishing touches on "Her Obsession 2" and after Thanksgiving will be working on "Her Obsession 3". One of my friends was telling me the other day that she just doesn't know how I do it. Five full length books released from April 2014 to October 2014, and now the plan is to release 3 other books Valentine's Day of 2015. She said most other writers release maybe one or two a year, and one book at a time. My answer to her was, that's just it... I'm not trying to be like most writers. I'm being myself. I love to write, and will write as much as I feel like writing. And as far as releasing more than one book at a time, that's just me. That's just how I choose to do it at a particular time. I mean, this time I could choose to release 3 books at once, and the next time it could be one. I'm not trying to follow anyone's tradition. I'm doing it however I choose to do it.
Its like I tell others who have asked my advice about writing. Do it as you see it and envision it thru your eyes. Don't try to follow someone else or a trend. I have my own unique way of thinking and writing when I'm developing the characters and a story. I don't think that you have to follow what is so-called, "trending". I think that you should create your own trend. Because I think that a good writer should be able to get readers to read whatever he or she writes no matter what others are writing. So to my fellow authors, never forget your creative uniqueness. Don't get caught up in all of this so-called "trending" thing. Because you don't necessarily want to be in the same class as everyone else. Your ultimate goal should be to create a class of your own.
