The Vampire's Pet Print Edition Snafu

I'm re-reading The Vampire's Pet looking for excerpts for an upcoming blog tour and have discovered a somewhat puzzling error. In the first episode (and apparently only there), major portions of text that were supposed to be italicized aren't. I'm in the process of correcting this and will, as soon as I can, update the file so future purchasers of the print edition will be better able to understand the text. Please note that this problem occurs only within the print edition, not in the e-bundle nor in the original, stand-alone episode.
