My First Signing Event!

Well, I had my first signing event last night at the St. Charles County Library. I felt like I’d made it! However, no one bought any books, it was still a great event. I’m pretty sure there was only myself and maybe a couple other romance writers there. There were lots of children’s book authors, cookbooks, self-help books, travel books, etc… Here I am all set-up and ready to sign some books!While I may not have sold any books, I met lots of other local authors, although not in the same genre, they all shared great stories and advice. I also got to hang out with the awesome library staff that does an amazing job of supporting local writers-a big thank you for all your hard work and dedication! And more importantly, I had an assistant with me and we had a pretty good time hanging out together (this is my 10 year-old niece): Hopefully this is just the first of many signings and eventually I’ll have some fans come visit me. In the meantime, it was still pretty awesome to just be a part of the community.
