No, not that. I'm annoyed with the trend to present information online as a slideshow. If I am searching for the ten cutest kittens or the twelve ways to prevent chapped lips or twenty one favorite pork loin recipes, I don't want to click through a freaking slide show! With ads every three slides! I JUST WANT MY INFO.
Yesterday one of the offending sites did offer a "show all" option, which was a relief. But usually they don't.

I share your pain. I think they make more money with publicity using a "slideshow".

That's the only reason I can figure they do it. Either that or to artificially inflate some statistic.

Better Homes and Gardens is the first site I remember really doling out the information in tiny little breadcrumbs and forcing me to click, click, click. I'd often get frustrated and give up.
I'm so glad I'm not the only one who finds this annoying!
