Disneyland Announces Fantasmic! FASTPASS Viewing Options and Dining Packages

The time honored tradition of camping out 3 hours for a Fantasmic! viewing spot is now a little less necessary. Disneyland has announced that Fantasmic! will get a FASTPASS-only viewing area starting December 12. Disney also made it clear that there will still be a stand-by viewing area for those who want to keep it old school, but it’s unclear large or how good that viewing section will be. FastPass tickets will be distributed on Big Thunder Trail (that’s the path to the left of Big Thunder Mountain) and will be distributed until they run out or 1 hour before showtime. Even with a FASTPASS in hand, I’d still recommend that you get in line for the reserved section a bit early. If it’s anything like World of Color’s FASTPASS line in DCA, it is safe to assume that it will be very long and take a good amount of time to get through.

It wouldn’t be a Disney “Nighttime Spectacular” without dinner packages, so they have also announced a variety dining options that will get you FASTPASSes for the show.

Blue Bayou Restaurant “Fantasmic!” Dinner Dining Package

River Belle Terrace will be open for breakfast until 2 p.m. each day.
