One Good Thing

I was sitting outside on the porch today. It's getting a little chilly and the leaves have blanketed the ground. My dog Alex always sits out on the grass whenever anyone is on the porch, her ears pointed and eyes watchful - for a bit. Then other things catch her attention. Like the grass or a bug. Today she rolled around in the leaves, the brilliant white fur on her belly almost blinding. It's adorable to see her - a seven year old shepherd - rolling around like a young pup.

She then sat up and proceeded to lick her ass. "Alex!" I shouted. "That's so un-ladylike!" But I don't think she cared. And why should she. Honestly, if I could be as flexible there'd be no telling what I could get up to.
