Writing unapologetic, fierce feminist group poems with Olivia Gatwood was the highlight of my summer. Getting to perform them on final stage in front of thousands of people was a very important gift. Seeing this poem now, in a world where misogyny doesn’t seem to ever take a seat, is a reminder of why some poems need to be loud and delivered with one of your best friends and teammates standing beside you.
