Make the World A Better Place?

The Bible teaches in John 3:16 that God used His only son to take away the sins of the world. “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. Did God really use His son to save every soul in the world? If that’s the case then everybody will go to Paradise after death. The truth is that God’s mission for His son was not necessarily to save the entire human race. God’s mission was to give the human race the opportunity to save themselves through Jesus Christ from eternal condemnation. God’s mission was a choice given to humanity in the shape of a gift. That explains why the key phrase in John 3:16 is, “whoever believes in him.” Salvation was not designed to save the entire world which is why when people openly deny Jesus Christ, you shouldn’t be surprised.

Anytime you hear a preacher talk about making the world a better place, please just walk away because Jesus did not come to make the world a better place. If making the world a better place was God’s mission for his son, then by all indications, that mission obviously failed because the world we live in today is actually worse than the world that crucified Jesus Christ more than two thousand years ago. Jesus came to give you the opportunity to enter God’s Paradise in Heaven by taking away your sins. If God sent His son to make the world a better place then Jesus would not have said, “If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world.” God therefore sent His only son to fulfill one very important mission: To save repented souls specifically designated for God’s Paradise in Heaven. Jesus came to make you acceptable before God.

God bless you and peace be with you in Jesus name,

Amen – Amen and Amen
