Today, I met 2 interesting guys on Twitter. First was a former journalist who offered to copy edit for me for a percentage of my sales and movie rights. I almost offered to edit his tweet for him, but I didn't have the heart. Second guy was from Uganda who needed a business partner. Asked him how he researched his business plan. Told me he researched the most profitable businesses like micro-finance, real estate, and home buzz. I'm no business guru, but his research sounded a bit broad and vague, so I recommended he study some reliable journals, books, and internet sources--many colleges have open access to their materials. And taking some classes might help. He sounded offended: I took a one-month class--I just want funding!!
