For several months now I have been following the blog of Wayne Barnes who is a wildlife, landscape and seascape photographer. You will probably have seen his wonderful blog where he showcases some of his photographs of eagles, bears and the magnificent scenery around his home in Tofino, on the west coast of Vancouver Island in British Columbia, Canada.
Tofino has quite a small population (1600) during the winter months but in the summer that multiplies several times over with visitors keen to take advantage of all the outdoor pursuits, sea based activities and the wildlife that lives right on the doorstep.
Apart from on the Tofino Photography blog, many of Wayne’s images have appeared in National Geographic, Readers Digest, many scientific books, journals and websites specific to the area.
