It's time for A Time for Loving! (AND a giveaway!) :D

*slides into the room with white gym socks on*

Hellooooooooo, lovely folks! I finally have ten minutes to myself today to share some news.

A Time for Loving is LIVE and ready for YOUR lovin'! Your good, ol' fashioned, historical lovin'. Your cravat-tyin', pantaloons-wearin', waltz-dancin' lovin'. *winks*

You can get your begloved and bejeweled paws on a copy of A Time for Loving at your favorite ebook retailer. Some of 'em are listed below. Yes, we like to spread the lovin'.

Find the story here: Amazon | Smashwords| Barnes & Noble | All Romance eBooks

In A Time for Loving, Jack and Christopher must navigate the rigid rules of Society and family expectations, knowing that the danger of discovery lies in many corners. After their unexpected love survived and, in fact, flourished in the climate of the war, now they must face more genteel hardships.

There's a poem that inspired me in writing this short story. It's a beautiful poem that, to me, speaks of love for nature and finding the unexpected. The poem embraces nature's freshness, its boldness, the unabashed glory of it. Nature, in turn, is a metaphor for love. It's a William Wordsworth poem called I wandered lonely as a cloud and, unofficially, Daffodils . If you have a chance to read Jack and Christopher's story, then I encourage you to read Daffodils afterward. In truth, the poem was so inspiring that I debated adding it to the book itself in an Afterword. =)

So that's my little tidbit of behind the scenes info on A Time for Loving! There'll be more tidbits on the story when I visit a couple of other blogs over the next two weeks. I'm super psyched for everyone to meet Jack and Christopher and find their own time for loving.

I also want to give a copy of the story away! Actually, I want to give THREE copies away! Or more. Actually, more. Yes, definitely more.

For details on how to enter, please visit my blog and leave a comment with a way to contact you, too! There's also a link to a Rafflecopter there, so that you can cover allllll of your bases when it comes to winning stuff. ;)

Thanks for checking out the story, and happy reading!

Not sure I approve of that reformation O_o
But, good. I fallen so far down the rabbit hole and eaten all the cookies that I'm not sure if I'm larger or smaller right now.
Read an awesome Johnlock--yes, I told you I'd fallen.

Love historicals--so definitely looking forward to reading this one :)

How are you post-Paris?

Nico Jaye I'm suffering from languor and minimal desire to do what I KNOW I need to do career-wise. I'll find some motivation...somewhere. Paris was just SO super fun, though. And I was doing some local traveling recently - went to Disneyland and met AWESOME GR buddies. :D It's just so hard to buckle down and be responsible.

I actually read a really cute Mr. and Mrs. Smith Sterek recently! Oh! And looks like someone added it to GR: We're catching bullets in our teeth (i. :D

Gonna peek at your shelves for Johnlock action. ;) I actually have a Merthur that I still need to read, but to be honest, it's been kind of nice to rediscover other stuff that's on my Kindle. I mean, I literally had 500+ READ Sterek fics...and another 100 or so TBR. >__< It's a slow reformation. Slow...slow...*ooh, new Sterek shiny!*

Slow. :)

I actually really enjoyed some of the REALLY AU stories where it was set in kinda-historical/fantasy times. You know...Derek is a king, Stiles is a peasant, that sort of thing. Historicals are totally what I cut my romance teeth on, so yeah...Sterek historical = yay! Hope you like my little Regency story. >__< It's smuffy!

Catherine *puts on her favourite crinolines & twirls and twirls and twirls. Then tries to sneak into a brothel for a game of cards b/c she's not exactly the tea and cucumber sandwich in the parlor type.*

Oh dear. Catherine just gave me a plot bunny for a story about a best friend's younger brother who sneaks into a gaming hell. Of course, MC has to protect him while he's there. >__>

*squinty-eyed stare at Catherine* :P

message 12: by Catherine (new)

Catherine Historical? Best friend's younger brother trope?! *jumps up and down* OHMYGODIMSOEXCITED!

Squint at me all you want, woman, I'm PUMPED.

message 13: by Nico (new)

Nico Jaye OF COURSE, HISTORICAL. Could a wide-eyed and mischievous gamine-faced not-quite-a-youth-anymore younger brother be anything but??? :)

message 14: by Catherine (new)

Catherine Hmmm... Strikes me that nanowrimo is right around the corner. *pointed look*

message 15: by Nico (new)

Nico Jaye >___________>

Why must you point this out? Why? :P

message 16: by Catherine (new)

Catherine To torture you (naturally). :D

message 17: by Nico (new)

Nico Jaye Evil woman. :P And by that, I mean thank you for the plot bunny. *exxxxxxcited* :D

message 18: by Catherine (new)

Catherine Well, since I have no writing abilities, it's the very least I can do.

message 19: by Nico (new)

Nico Jaye Just look at what your brothel comment generated! I seriously want to write a rakehell SO farking badly. I've wanted to since forever. This is the purrrrrrfect opportunity! :D

message 20: by Catherine (new)

Catherine Who doesn't love a good rakehell!? Combine that with a gambling hell and you have historical romance GOLD.

message 21: by Nico (new)

Nico Jaye Gawd. Want. Do want. So badly want. Want want want.

*fires up the computer*

message 22: by Catherine (new)

Catherine No, no. You have this all backwards, dear author. YOU do the writing and the masses do the grabby hands.
