WHILE IT LASTS is optioned for film
I know I said I wouldn’t sign for one of my books to go to film. I wanted a TV series. I was afraid that they would change the story and ruin it. I did hold off for awhile. BUT since the Sea Breeze series is coming to an end, I considered this option when it was placed before me. I wanted to see my characters on the screen.
I thought about this, argued with myself, and then in the end knew this was what I wanted to do. Red Rock Pictures is an indie production house (we all know I love indie) and they agreed that I could be an associate producer in order to make sure my story wasn’t turned into something I didn’t recognize.
With that fear out of the way, I signed the papers on Monday.

Hey Abbi! Quick question: Why was Make it Last chosen for film instead of Breathe? It makes me feel sad that because Make it Last is being filmed that the rest of the series, especially Breathe and Because of Low, won't.

Cool! Hoping that it will be shown in the Philippines when it does come out. :D I like Cage and Eva's story in While it Lasts, but I love Preston and Amanda's story in Just for now. Their story is my favorite among the Sea Breeze series. :D

A tv series of both rosemary beach and sea breeze series would be epic.. i'm still excited with while it lasts film, but i wonder if it will be release here in the philippines? :D
Well, I've been wondering my entire life whether any of Abbi Gline's books would be made into movies because God knows I've been wanting to see Rush and Blaire on the screen. Then you came with the news that While It Lasts would be instead. We'll be seeing Cage and Eva instead.. I just wanna say that I really love it!! Though I still wish Rosemary Beach would one day being filmed as well.. but anyway, Congrats!
omg!! i would love to see an Abbi Glines book on screen...but it would be a major downer if they didnt stay close to the story line...I would definitely love to see a Rush movie....HOT :)
