Listening to Inkstuds and hearing so many people refer to Conan has piqued my interest in the character. Are there any particular stories that you would recommend checking out?

The 70’s and 80’s Savage Sword books that Dark horse reprinted is my favorite stuff. I tend to avoid most of the color or post 80’s stuff. 

There’s some fantastic work by Roy Thomas, Barry Windsor-Smith & John Buscema, Ernie Chan (&Alfredo Alcala.) in those. —any of the volumes has great stuff in it. You could just start with #1 and see if you like them. 

 One of my all time favorite Conan stories is Jorge Zaffino and ChuckDixon’s : The Horned God ( I wish I could remember what reprint book # that is in)
