Sustaining friendships

Last weekend, I returned to the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) for its Centennial. When I was an undergraduate there, my mom drove me to the campus for my classes. Sounds so odd today. I am a UTEP graduate and subsequently taught there part-time, and eventually became an administrator there. During my administrator days, I received a letter from a young boy from Houston.
