Updates and more science!

Happy Moon Day!

I hope you all had a good weekend. I spent mine replenishing the brain with books, movies, and weird conversation.

I wanted to expand on the first post a bit: I am currently working almost exclusively on The Madness Engine, the third book of The Awakening.

I say almost because I'm also finishing two pieces of short fiction I'll be posting here in the next few weeks.

The first is a storyline that was edited out of The Fallen. It takes place on Mars and didn't have a strong connection to the other characters, but I think it fills in some important background on what is happening in the Federation.

The second is a story about Hrothgar Tebrey that take place between the second and third book. Things don't always work out the way Tebrey hopes they will. Sometimes, things go really wrong.

Kees Bijker Hi Paul,

First of all, I loved The Remnant so much, I bought The Fallen immediately. I actually forgot where I got the Remnant from, it must have been a free download because it is not in my list of purchased ebooks.
The free thing works, I liked it and I bought the second, nearly finished, and will buy your third book.

I just have one minor concern. As is often the case, self published books have editing flaws. Your books as well. If you have an editor, get another one. If you don't, seriously, get one.
I have not made notes but I remember many many niggly punctuation errors, words left out or in the wrong tense. Small grammar and punctuation errors only, but too many not to notice.
This does not take away from how much I enjoy the story and the characters. Please keep them the way they are and give us more of them. I am waiting!
